Sunday 2nd May: Building Opening

The building work is due to be complete by Friday 16th April. We are holding a special building opening service on Sunday 2nd May where everone is invited to join us.

Monday 2nd November:

Contract Awarded to Medlock Build

We have awarded to the Contract for converting the Brooks Road Industrial Unit to a usable Church Building to a local Lewes company Medlock Build. The first phase of the Contract is worth approx £420,000 and is anticipated to be complete in April 2010.

Friday 28th August: Contract out to Tender

We have put the building contract out to tender with a number of building firms.  We expect to appoint the contract for the refurbishment in about 8 weeks time.  Hopefully work will begin on site before the end of the year!

Friday 24th July: Planning Permission

We have now been granted Full Planning Permission for changes to the building.  Click here  to see Planning Application.

Thusday 23rd May: Plans Submitted

Final building plans have been submitted for planning permission approval. If you'd like to see the finalised plans please click here. Please note you will be required to enter membership log in details, the download may take a few minutes.

Wednesday 25th March: Firm Appointed

We have appointed Daniells Harrison Chartered Surveyors to oversee the design, planning and construction of the refurbishment project.

Saturday 7th March: Purchase Complete

We now have the keys to the building!  We have begun consultations with a number of firms to oversee the refurbishment project from empty warehouse to church building.
